Job summary

Smurfit Westrock Fort Worth Box on Demand is seeking a Forklift Driver to support a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility. The role requires forklift certification with 3–5 years of experience and a strong emphasis on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, warehousing, inventory control, and performing quality checks. Candidates must read order specifications and measurement tools, and be able to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Forklift certification with 3-5 years forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must be able to read an order spec sheet.
• Must be able to read a tape measure (to 1/16 inch) and perform basic math.
• Able to complete Lift Truck Training and pass tests to be certified.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks; warehouse products and materials; supply production lines with requested product and/or components safely and efficiently.
• Ensure units are banded properly; load tags are visible; no broken or missing straps.
• Perform last visual quality inspections; verify counts and paperwork for accuracy.
• Be trained on computerized scanner for inventory control; unload incoming material and conduct visual inspections.
