Job summary

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification with 3–5 years experience, English fluency, and ability to read a tape measure and order specs. Background checks and drug screening apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification with 3-5 years forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts; available to work overtime.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Read and understand an order spec sheet.
• Ability to read a tape measure (to 1/16”) and do basic math.
• Read and understand load tags.
• Understand unitizing and palletizing information.
• Able to complete Lift Truck Training and pass tests to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks; warehouse product and materials and supply production lines safely and efficiently.
• Ensure units are banded properly with visible load tags and that straps are intact.
• Perform last visual quality inspection and verify unit and truck counts and paperwork.
• Be trained on computerized scanner for inventory control; assist unloading incoming material as needed.
