Job summary

OSI Group in Illinois is seeking a materials handler to move raw materials and finished products between production areas, storage, and docks using a riding pallet jack or forklift.

You will offload deliveries, stack pallets, maintain a clean work area, and follow safety policies in a manufacturing plant environment with temperature variations and loud noise. 0-1 years experience preferred; HS diploma required; overtime/bonus opportunities may apply.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in related field is preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials from storage to production using a riding pallet jack or forklift.
• Transfer finished products from the production line to the storage or docks.
• Offload delivered raw materials and other supplies to storage area; organize according to facility specifications.
• Stack and organize pallets and maintain a clean working area.
• Remove empty combos and garbage pallets from department.
• Follow safety policies, wear protective equipment as applicable, and perform other duties as assigned.
