Job summary

Wawona Frozen Foods is hiring a Forklift Operator to efficiently move, dump, stack, and transport product across Cedar or Alluvial locations. You will operate both electric and propane forklifts, assist multiple departments, and help ensure inventory control in a team-focused environment.

Applicants should have at least 1 year of forklift experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience working as a forklift operator.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Maintain high safety standards and wear PPE.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent spatial awareness for stacking/loading.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in safety program and meetings.
• Follow GMP, HAACP, Food Safety, Food Defense, and SQF policies.
• Operate sit-down electric and propane forklifts to move product and pallets.
• Move, stack, and transport pallets and boxes as needed.
• Inspect trailers prior to loading/unloading; complete required paperwork.
