Job summary

Staffmark Group in Chattanooga, TN is hiring a Forklift Operator to safely operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, and other powered industrial trucks, load and unload, move inventory, and prepare orders for shipment.

Requires 2 years forklift experience and a valid certification or ability to certify; OSHA safety compliance and dependable attendance are expected. First or second shift with competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of forklift operating experience.
• Basic computer and scanner/RF gun experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker or other forklifts.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers.
• Transport materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report issues.
• Maintain accurate inventory with scanning and documentation.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.
• Follow OSHA regulations and warehouse procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
