Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking an on-site Forklift Operator at our Jacksonville, FL plant. You will operate a forklift, maintain safe work practices, and support a cohesive team to produce high-quality insulation panels and related products.

Responsibilities include completing production reporting, maintaining housekeeping, and adhering to all safety procedures. Candidates should have forklift experience, a valid license, and strong math and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience; certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• General math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide and percentages).
• Ability to read a tape measure and production specs.
• Beginner to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift and support plant operations safely.
• Maintain housekeeping and clean work areas and equipment.
• Relieve and assist teammates as needed to keep production flowing.
• Complete production reporting and logs accurately.
• Ensure compliance with policies, JSA and SOP.
