Job summary

Johns Manville is seeking a Production Attendant for the Furnace department. The role involves weighing, packaging and labeling products, assembling containers for filling, and operating weighing equipment.

You will also use the barcode system, monitor quality, and assist with shifts as needed. As a non-exempt, full-time position, you will contribute to safe production, keep a clean work area, and quickly respond to supervisor requests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and basic production data.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, package, and label products according to procedures.
• Assemble containers and place them for filling or dumping.
• Operate weighing equipment and use barcode system.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and report hazards.
• Record production data and assist with shifts as needed.
