Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Alabama is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 2nd Shift (5G), 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM, Wednesday through Saturday. You will move stock, load/unload shipments, and operate stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks in a fast-paced, safety‑conscious warehouse.

Starting pay is $18.45 per hour plus a $0.50 shift premium. Minimum 6 months warehouse experience and a forklift operator certificate or completion within 30 days are preferred; a high school diploma is

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months warehouse experience.
• Forklift operator certificate or completion within the first 30 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of the shift.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy and report variances as necessary.
• Maintain equipment and facility in a neat, clean, orderly fashion.
• Assist in physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
