Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator for 2nd Shift (5G) from 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM, Wednesday to Saturday, in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will move stock, load and unload shipments, and operate various forklift types including stand-up, sit-down, and clamp forklifts.

Role emphasizes safety and teamwork; candidates should have forklift certification or complete training within 30 days, plus six months warehouse experience and forklift operation experience.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
• Six months warehouse experience, preferred
• Six months forklift operation experience

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of shift.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
