Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is seeking a forklift operator at our El Paso facility. You will operate a forklift safely, wrap equipment when needed, keep stock organized and document materials unloaded from trucks.

You will pull jobs for production, assist team members, report any forklift issues, and adhere to safety rules. This role requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to obtain PCA forklift license, with overtime availability and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months experience operating a forklift.
• Ability to work overtime on short notice, both weekdays and weekends.
• Manufacturing environment exposure and comfort around machinery and heavy forklift traffic.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain PCA certified forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Wrap equipment when necessary and keep stock organized.
• Document materials unloaded from trucks and participate in inventory counts.
• Assist other shipping/receiving personnel to balance workload and clean the warehouse.
• Report missing, broken, bent, or worn forklift parts to supervisor or maintenance.
