Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. in Covington, GA is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move palletized goods within the distribution center, unload, store, and pick pallets with a high-reach or counterbalance forklift, using RF scanners and the WMS to maintain inventory accuracy.

This is a 6-month, full-time role with daytime schedule Monday through Friday, paying $17.50 per hour. Education: HS diploma or GED preferred; 1 year experience required, with forklift certification possible within a short

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
1 year of relevant experience, required.
Intermediate experience with either a high reach or counterbalance required.
Ability to obtain forklift certification within 2 days of employment.
Ability to read and interpret distribution documents in English.

Responsibilities

Transport palletized product within the distribution center (unload, put away double deep, bulk and full pallet pick, load, replenishment).
Operate material handling equipment, including high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker.
Use RF Scanner and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track products throughout the site.
Ensure product integrity while performing all tasks.
Follow site safety procedures, including required PPE (safety vest, safety shoes).
Cross train and become knowledgeable in other areas. Provide backup support when required.
