Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. is seeking a DC Lift Truck Operator in Reno, NV. The role involves operating manual and Power Industrial equipment to support receiving, picking, packing, stocking, and shipping of products within a distribution center.

You will move products safely to maximize productivity, following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Prior warehouse experience and forklift certification are preferred for efficient performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience preferred in a distribution/warehouse environment or equivalent handling of heavy equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with change.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Must become certified through Sally Beauty Lift Truck Training Program to operate forklift.

Responsibilities

• May complete RF Scanners or paper-based picking using different lift equipment to move products across the DC.
• Shipping Product: weigh and load materials for trucks as part of daily shipments.
• Receiving Products: unload, stack, and store incoming goods from vendors.
• Stock Products: transfer and put away products across distribution center locations; maintain safe housekeeping and adherence to safety rules.
• Maintain a safe work environment, report hazards, and keep productivity aligned with standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
