XPO, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator in Columbus, OH to efficiently sort, load, and unload freight on a busy dock. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts, secure cargo, and ensure safe handling in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to do basic math calculations.
• Available to work various shifts including days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Dock or warehouse experience in transportation industry.
• Forklift experience in a freight/LTL environment.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Strong attention to detail and drive to succeed.

Responsabilités

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and adhere to company safety policies.
• Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
