XPO is seeking a Forklift Operator in Rochester, NY to safely handle and move freight on a dock. You will use forklifts and pallet jacks, scan shipments, and work on a non climate-controlled dock on a variety of shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic math calculations are required (with or without a calculator).
• Able to work a variety of shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends) to accommodate freight volumes.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Use motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Work safely and adhere to company safety policies.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
