Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking dependable sit-down forklift operators for dock operations and efficient material flow management in the Seattle area. The role involves coordinating with logistics and shipping teams and offers competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities include moving materials on shipping/receiving docks, staging pallets, loading trailers, and ensuring safe, space-efficient operations. Open to all qualified candidates with PIT certification and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly.
• Successful performance on a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) test.

Responsibilities

• Manage all material movement on shipping/receiving docks using sit-down forklift to stage, load, and organize inbound/outbound freight.
• Strategically place incoming pallets into staging areas and move completed orders from packing lines onto trailers.
• Load trailers safely and efficiently, optimizing space while following safety regulations.
• Coordinate with dock supervisors and drivers to manage trailer drops, swaps, and live loading timelines.
• Provide general warehouse support, moving bulk items or assisting with reorganization using forklift.
