Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Hazelwood, MO is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials throughout the distribution center using industrial standup forklifts. You will place products in designated areas and work at heights up to 20 feet when needed.

The role requires a safety-minded team player with basic English literacy and prior forklift experience. It is a full-time position with a schedule Monday–Friday and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and transport product to assigned slots.
• Identify product to be selected, sorted, and placed.
• Follow aisle specifications for product sorting and placement.
• Enter assigned product for each shift into the system.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.
