Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Material Handler / Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift at our Recycling Plant in York, PA. The role involves loading lines, maintaining inventory, unloading materials, and keeping the warehouse organized. Starting pay is $20.60 per hour plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential.

Benefits start Day One, with vacation after 90 days. Applicants should have at least 1 year of forklift experience and be able to communicate clearly with teammates and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including internal and external customers.
• Proficient computer usage and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Load production lines with appropriate raw materials as instructed by the production supervisor.
• Maintain current and accurate raw material inventory.
• Unload materials from trailers and complete paperwork for receiving and weight counts.
• Dump and bale hoppers of sorted raw materials and contaminants.
• Store finished goods and ensure orderly warehouse organization.
• Receive parts and supplies and secure packing slips.
