Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Bolingbrook, IL is hiring a Material Handler to join our warehouse team on the first shift (Mon-Fri, 6:00 am–2:30 pm).

The role offers weekly pay, a strong benefits package, and opportunities for advancement within a safety‑driven environment. You will operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts, perform picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting, and support production with timely, accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping and receiving.
• Operate forklift and related equipment safely within contract guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Maintain related paperwork (picking sheets, bills of lading, returns).
• Support automated packing system and provide maintenance assistance during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
