Job summary

Novo Building Products is seeking an Experienced Forklift Operator for our Allentown warehouse. You will move products, scan items with RF devices, and ensure safe transport to designated locations.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift, maintaining safety, and communicating issues to supervision. Flexibility for overtime and adherence to PPE and procedures are required. This role supports a fast-paced distribution environment in Allentown, PA.

Qualifications

• Effectively perform all essential functions and physical requirements.
• Ability to move awkward product lengths and weight.
• Experience operating a forklift with 6,500 lb rating.
• Use of PPE and maintain a safe work environment.
• Basic math, interpersonal and reasoning skills.
• Read and follow written procedures and standard work instructions.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move products and pallets safely.
• Communicate discrepancies or safety issues to supervisor.
• Scan products with RF scanners to correct locations.
• Keep work area clean and free of debris.
• Group like products together for easy access.
• Complete Novo forklift training and follow safety rules.
• Assist with placing items by hand as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
