Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Forklift Operator in Ballinger, TX to support the distribution of materials to customers and branches. The role runs on the 1st Shift, 7:00AM - 4:30PM, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime.

Base pay is $16.42 per hour. You will operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools, perform float loading, material handling, and inventory updates in a safe, efficient environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
• Education – High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience – Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform float loading activities to optimize multiple loads for delivery coordination.
• Operate forklift, overhead crane and construction tools safely.
• Ensure machines and equipment are operating properly.
• Complete orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management including daily ERP updates.
