Job summary

Premier Packaging is seeking a reliable forklift operator to move and stack corrugated materials safely within our California facility. You will load and unload goods, transport materials to production areas, and help manage inventory levels.

The role requires 1–3 years of forklift experience, certification is preferred, and Lifting up to 25 lbs alone and 50 lbs with assistance is expected. We value teamwork and clear communication to keep production on schedule.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience as a forklift operator in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Lift up to 25 lbs alone and up to 50 lbs assisted.
• Experience with different types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, clamp, etc.).
• Forklift certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklift to move, stack, and transport corrugated materials within the facility.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas using the forklift.
• Transport materials to and from production areas to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist in organizing and managing inventory; perform regular counts and checks.
• Coordinate material movements with production supervisors and team members; report issues.
• Collaborate with forklift operators to optimize workflow and adapt to production changes.
