Job summary

Jabil in Memphis, TN is seeking a dedicated forklift operator to safely move materials within our warehouse and production facilities. You will support inventory accuracy and help maintain smooth material flow on an assigned shift.

The role requires a high school diploma, forklift certification, 1–2 years of forklift experience, and basic data entry skills (SAP). You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm with potential for additional shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift operator certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• 1–2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse/manufacturing setting.
• Safe forklift operation and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to read work orders, inventory tags, and safety instructions.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking (SAP).
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load/unload trucks, move materials, and stage products.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections and document defects.
• Document material movements and inventory records.
• Adhere to safety regulations and use PPE as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and safe storage.
• Assist with inventory counts, labeling, and verification.
• Collaborate with team to optimize material flow and schedules.
• Report spills, damaged products, or safety hazards immediately.
• May perform other general warehouse duties as assigned.
