Job summary

Graham Packaging Company in Tolleson, AZ seeks a Forklift Operator on a 3/2/3 day cycle. This role starts at $22.35–$27.00 per hour and supports production with material handling, staging and warehouse moves.

You will follow safety procedures, perform inspections, assist line workers, maintain records, participate in inventory and help keep pallets moving to stretch wrap and storage areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude and customer service.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given instructions.
• Effective communication: conveys facts clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Teamwork: collaborates to achieve group objectives.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies and procedures.
• Perform safety lift truck inspections and battery checks; report issues to supervisor; change batteries as needed.
• Assist production line staff and relieve them during breaks and lunches.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and produced; report to warehouse personnel.
• Participate in physical inventory taking and ensure proper locations of finished goods.
• Move pallets to stretch wrap machines and staging areas; ensure accurate handoffs.
• Ensure product codes are present on finished goods and proper labeling is maintained.
