Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Full Time Warehouse Stand Up Forklift Operator to join our team. You will operate stand-up forklifts, perform picking, packing, shipping and receiving tasks, and help maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Ability to work in a diverse environment.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Operate within contract performance measurement guidelines.
Accurately pick/pack, audit, tote induction, staging of products; load/unload trucks.
Process day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production.
Perform other duties as assigned.
