Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Full Time Warehouse Stand Up Forklift Operator to join our team. You will operate stand-up forklifts, perform picking, packing, shipping and receiving tasks, and help maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Accurately pick/pack, audit, tote induction, staging of products; load/unload trucks.
• Process day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide technical/maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay: $20.50 per hour
• Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 6:00am - 2:30pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contractPerforms other duties as assigned.
