Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Tracy, CA, is seeking an Equipment and Machine Operator. You will operate a forklift, move products, label and package inventory, and load trucks per safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years of similar equipment experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read safety procedures. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred; day or night shifts may be necessary.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience operating similar equipment.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety procedures and maintenance instructions.
• Open to day or night shift as needed.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Stand for extended periods while performing duties.
• Lift up to 80 pounds with assistance if needed, up to 4 feet high.
• Must wear provided PPE (earplugs, hard hat, boots, glasses).
• Provide own safety boots upon hire; boots reimbursement after 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely to move product into inventory and onto/off trucks.
• Ensure proper rotation and placement of finished goods.
• Label and package product for inventory.
• Ensure packaging/quantities are correct and meet quality standards.
• Load trucks with finished product for delivery.
• Verify packaging/pallets are safe for shipment before loading.
• Complete daily paperwork including inspection reports for equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
