Job summary

Siemens in Southaven, MS is hiring a Forklift Operator for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. You will safely operate forklifts, maintain clean work areas and support receiving, packing, and inventory tasks at the Memphis Distribution Center.

The role requires forklift experience, ability to lift 40 lbs, and readiness to work in a fast-paced distribution environment. Eligible applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Forklift & material handling experience required.
• Able to lift at least 40lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Experience working in a distribution center or large retail operation.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• A safety-first mentality
• Maintain housekeeping standards and cleanliness of the work area
• Establish and maintain a forklift certification
• Support tasks such as Picking, Packing/Auditing, Loading, Replenishment, Cycle Counting, and Receiving/Put-a-way functions
• Ability to maintain an acceptable level of efficiency, quality and be an engaged member of the team
• Report all equipment, order, location, inventory, or process issues to the designated team member
• If in doubt, talk to your lead, supervisor, coordinator, or all the above as needed. Interact with supervisor, coordinators, inbound, inventory control, and outbound staff to reconcile open issues.
• Other warehouse duties as assigned
