Job summary

US Foods is seeking a forklift operator to move palletized products between the dock and warehouse storage areas, ensuring pallets are secure and placed in designated slots. You will replenish slots to maintain inventory and perform routine safety checks on equipment.

The role supports both night and day shifts in a multi-temperature environment, with a starting rate of $24.41/hr and scheduled increases at 6 and 12 months. Overtime and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Able to read and write legibly; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Must be able to understand Voxware commands.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport pallet loads from dock to warehouse slots.
• Replenish pick slots to maintain inventory levels.
• Perform safety checks on battery, brakes, lift controls, and fire extinguisher.
• Record all product, equipment and warehouse damage.
• Maintain cleanliness of aisles and follow safety policies at all times.
