Job summary

US Foods is seeking a forklift operator to move pallets, load and unload materials, and stock shelves in a multi-temperature warehouse environment. This role requires operating powered equipment safely and efficiently, with a starting rate around $24.41/hr and raises at 6 and 12 months.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 6am to completion with rotating Sundays every 4–5 weeks; the job may include overtime and freezer premium. Benefits and local leadership are highlighted in the description.

Qualifications

• Must read and write legibly and perform basic math.
• OSHA forklift certification required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior forklift operator experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move pallets from dock to warehouse slots.
• Replenish picks and maintain inventory levels.
• Perform safety checks on forklift and equipment.
• Record damages to product and equipment.
• Maintain clean aisles and comply with safety policies.
