48forty Solutions in Chambersburg, PA is hiring a Forklift Operator to load and unload pallets, move pallets inside the plant, and support production. The role demands 1-3 years forklift experience and the ability to work a labor-intensive environment on the 3rd or 4th shifts.

Compensation is $18.00–$19.00 per hour with overtime as needed, plus benefits including holiday and daily pay options, 401(k), and a team-focused workplace emphasizing safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of forklift experience.
• Previous experience in a warehouse/logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred
• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Willing to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant
• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area
• Stack finished products into trailers or to storage areas up to a safe height
• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind
