Capitol Distributing in Caldwell, Idaho is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The role involves operating standing forklifts, handling receiving, storage, and loading of materials, and contributing to safe, efficient distribution for our customers.

We offer a full-time schedule including 1 weekend day, with overtime as needed and a comprehensive benefits package (PTO, holidays, 401k match, medical/dental/vision, tuition assistance, and more).

Qualifications

• 1+ year of forklift experience.
• Standing forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to handle equipment and vehicles safely and sensibly.
• Ability to attend and pass onsite forklift driving training as requested.
• Must be able to work other jobs within the warehouse as needed.
• Must be able to work occasional overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operates standing forklifts to move pallets in receiving, storage and loading areas.
• Identifies, verifies and transports materials or pallets as requested.
• Keeps inventory accurate by storing items in assigned locations.
• Uses scanning devices to log and stock products daily.
• May fill other warehouse positions as needed.
• Communicates with supervisor to meet business objectives.
