Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood is seeking a diligent Warehouse Associate to manage general warehousing tasks, including loading, unloading, receiving, and pallet movement. You’ll operate reach forklifts and other MHE in cold and dry environments while adhering to PWMs and safety standards.

The role requires teamwork, good communication, and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records, with emphasis on food safety and quality in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months forklift experience required.
• Reach truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport pallets safely between staging areas using PWMs.
• Put away product using MHE, primarily a reach forklift.
• Inspect products for shortages or damage.
• Replenish stock to full pallet or slot from reserve.
• Ensure pallets are secured with shrink wrap.
• Complete forklift certification and operate PWMs safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and report unsafe issues.
