Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Nampa, ID facility. Under general supervision, you will safely receive, store, and ship food products using forklifts and RF scanners in a controlled freezer/cooler environment.

You will load/unload freight, stack and pick orders, check for damage, maintain safety, and support inventory and housekeeping tasks. Weekend/shift: Saturday to Tuesday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload freight using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, inspect for damage and infestation.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean, orderly work area.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
