Misfits Market seeks a skilled Forklift Operator for our fulfillment center. You will operate forklifts to move and stage grocery products in a fast-paced, refrigerated warehouse.

Responsibilities include inventory counts, order picking, and adherence to OSHA safety guidelines. The role requires 1 year of forklift experience, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and shift availability Saturday-Tuesday evenings. Compensation is $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass internal forklift operator certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operation in a warehouse.
• Understand OSHA safety protocols for forklift operation.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Experience with warehouse management systems preferred.
• Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment (36°F and below).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport grocery products throughout the warehouse, including loading/unloading trucks and stacking.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accurate records.
• Fulfill customer orders by picking and staging products for shipment per procedures.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and pre-operational checks with PPE.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report needs to maintenance staff.
• Coordinate with supervisors to manage workflow and address issues.
