Job summary

Lifeway Foods, Inc, a leading producer of Kefir and other dairy products, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Worker to operate the forklift, move products, and ensure accurate outbound shipments. The role requires adherence to safety procedures and quality standards in a cold environment.

You will load/unload trailers, count merchandise, and document shipments while maintaining SOP/SSOP compliance and working closely with drivers and data entry staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Or three to six months related experience; Or equivalent.
• Demonstrate intellectual and interpersonal skills through leadership, organization, and self-efficacy.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Software, Inventory Software, and Microsoft Office including Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift and relocate, stack, wrap, and count merchandise.
• Ship products accurately to customers and sister company; meet deadlines.
• Follow SQF procedures and company safety policies; perform safety checks and proper documentation.
