Job summary

Ardmore Home Design is seeking a Forklift / Equipment Operator to support our Warehouse operations. This role completes assigned duties to ensure products are received, put away, picked or packaged in a timely manner for inbound and outbound shipments.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and/or pallet jack to move products for inbound/outbound processing.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders in a timely manner.
• Maintain safety standards and use PPE as required.
• Read paperwork/manifests and follow verbal/written instructions.
• Assist with loading/unloading and product reloading to minimize damage.
• Utilize RF scanners to record activity and inventory movement.
• Complete workload safely and efficiently per procedures.
• Report any equipment or safety issues promptly.

About the Position

We are seeking an Forklift / Equipment Operator to support our Warehouse operations. This position completes assigned duties to ensure that products are received, put away, accurately picked or packaged in a timely manner for Inbound/Outbound

Job Responsibilities

• Frequently reaches above shoulder level to lift or otherwise move objects that weigh between 50-100 pounds (assisted) when unloading and sorting pallet products
• Pushes and pulls frequently
• Functions and operates comfortably in a very active fast-paced environment
• Follows verbal and written instructions, reads paperwork/manifestos to complete tasks.
• Operates a forklift and/or pallet jack to pull product for production use
• Completes workload safely and efficiently, following all safety standards, procedures and processes
• Regularly ensures that product reloading is properly handled to minimize damage to products
• Use of PPE when required
• Submits paperwork correctly
• Completes other duties as assigned
• Use RF Scanners

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid license to operate company equipment
• Previous Warehouse work experience helpful
• Reach Truck, Cherry picker, Sit-down Forklift experience
• Willingness to learn and apply new skills
• Great attention to detail
• Diligence and punctuality

• Ability to work in open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
• Required to use stairwells to attend meetings and engage with employees on multiple floors throughout building.
