Job summary

Maersk Line Limited in the United States is hiring a Forklift Operator to load and unload materials, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and verify loads against manifests. You will use a hand truck, reach truck, or forklift, work Sunday to Thursday 6am–2:30pm, and help drivers with loading.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink-wrap materials.
• Ability to read and comprehend work instructions.
• Must read/write in English.
• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs unassisted.
• Overtime and weekend availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers in loading and unloading trucks.
• Forklift experience required.
• Material handling may include picking, packing, scanning, and counting products; ensure timely, accurate work.
• Identify overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Read and follow detailed, defined instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a safe work environment in line with TSA and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
