Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC in Groveport, OH seeks a Forklift Operator to move products throughout the warehouse using various handling equipment. Requires operation of forklifts and adherence to local regulations via an accredited qualification/license.

Typical titles include Forklift Operator, Equipment Operator, MHE Operator. Direct hire with full benefits; $21.00 per hour; overtime potential; comprehensive benefits package available.

Qualifications

• Must have Forklift Certification or equivalent license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and banding/stretch wrap.
• RF scanner experience required.
• Overtime/weekend work may be needed.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize manifest to pull routes, stage freight, and assist drivers to load/unload trucks.
• Perform picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting, and related duties as applicable.
• Ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work are accurate.
• Identify overages, shortages, and damaged goods (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Read and follow detailed instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Comply with TSA and OSHA guidelines; maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
