Job summary

Trinidad Benham in Mineola, TX is seeking a dependable forklift operator for our Packaging Operations team. The role focuses on safe material handling, loading and unloading, and preparing product for shipment.

Responsibilities include pulling and packing orders, operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts, and serving as a back-up CDL driver for tractor-trailer movements when needed. A valid Class A CDL and safe-driving record are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience operating sit-down and stand-up reach forklifts.
• Current Class A CDL license in good standing.
• Ability to safely drive yard trucks.
• Ability to safely drive/move/back tractor-trailers.

Responsibilities

• Move product by operating forklift to load/unload, wrap finished product, and move product within the facility.
• Pull and prepare orders for shipment, load/unload trucks, and position tractors; act as a back-up CDL driver when regular driver is out.

What You'll Be Doing

Forklift operators move our product - whether it's loading or unloading product for transportation, wrapping finished product, or moving product around the facility. Forklift operators must be safety-minded and have good attention to detail.

The primary job responsibilities for this position will be pulling and preparing orders for shipment, loading and unloading trucks, using a stand up and sit down forklift. This position will act as a back up CDL driver, responsible for tractor-trailer movement and positioning in the yard and between facilities, as needed when regular driver is out. Position requires current Class A CDL license in good standing.

Must Haves

• 1 plus years' experience driving sit down and stand up reach forklift, preferably in a warehouse/production environment


• Current Class A CDL drivers license in good standing


• Ability to safely drive yard truck


• Ability to safely drive/move/back tractor-trailers
