Job Description

Responsibilities & Opportunities

Sika is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join its team in Gastonia, NC. The role involves assisting the shift supervisor in coordinating production activities, operating manufacturing lines, and adjusting operating conditions to ensure quality parts.

Other Duties Include

• Review daily production schedules and support production planning with the team lead.
• Identify areas for process improvement.
• Provide materials to production lines using forklifts.
• Unload/load trucks as needed.
• Assist in packing parts when required.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 months to 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Knowledge of the metric system, computer literacy, forklift operation, and basic reading/writing skills
