Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full-Time Forklift Operator in Wilmington, Illinois.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly:

• Hourly Pay: $18.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $27.75 per hour
• Sign-on bonus: $1000 (half paid at 30 days, other half at 90 days)
• Schedule: Sunday to Tuesday from 5:00am to 4:30pm and Wednesday from 5:00am to 10:45am

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One or more years of related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator's license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across all levels
• Dependable, punctual, with a good attendance record
• Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision
• High initiative and accuracy under pressure
• Ability to lift and push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to work safely and flexibly across shifts
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading trucks
• Manage related paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Support technical and maintenance aspects of automated packing systems during production hours
• Perform other duties as assigned
