Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers in Hatfield, MA is seeking a Forklift Operator to move merchandise inside our warehouse. You will work the 2nd shift (3:30 PM start) in a 4-day work week, Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour plus shift differential and incentives.

You’ll use stand-up and other forklifts to load, unload, and position pallets, ensuring accuracy and safety. Training is provided, with benefits beginning Day 1.

Qualifications

• Valid MHE/Forklift certification required.
• Ability to operate stand-up and other forklifts.
• Commitment to safety and attendance.

Responsibilities

• Transport merchandise from receiving dock or reserve slots to proper location in the warehouse.
• Complete purchase orders.
• Maintain proper replenishment in the computer using a handheld device.
• Stack cases and rotate merchandise.
• Refill benches and fill pallet slots.
• Pull material/products to deliver to production lines.
• Move finished product from production to storage area.
• Unload material/product from trailers.
• Operate required equipment (battery hoist, RF gun) and complete transfer paperwork.
• Keep work area clean and check for spills or damage.
