Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift at our North Hatfield, MA facility. You will transport merchandise, rotate pallets, and complete tasks using handheld devices and RF technology. This role requires safe operation of stand-up and other forklifts, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

You will be part of a team that maintains an organized warehouse, supports production lines, and adheres to safety standards. Training is provided and benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to operate stand-up forklift, sit-down forklift, reach truck or similar equipment.
• MHE certification and safety compliance required.
• Ability to maintain inventory accuracy and document transactions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Transport merchandise from receiving dock or reserve slots to the correct warehouse location.
• Move, rotate and stack cases; replenish and document in the computer via handheld device.
• Pull materials for production lines and unload/load onto trailers.
• Record quantities, pack sizes and descriptions; operate RF/voice systems as needed.
• Change forklift batteries and keep work area clean; follow safety procedures.
