Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring Temporary Full Time Forklift Operators in Newnan, Georgia. Roles include using Reach Trucks and Electric Pallet Jacks, with on-the-job paid training and safety gear provided.

Third shift adds a $0.50 per hour premium; shifts run Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. We offer a clean, organized warehouse environment focused on safety and teamwork. Benefits mirror standard warehouse offerings, with opportunities to grow within a culture of respect

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Ability to work within a diverse environment.
Flexible schedule on various shifts.
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving and forklift operation.
Operate within contract performance measurement guidelines.
Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing and loading/unloading of trucks.
Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production hours.
Perform other duties as assigned.
