Ryder System, Inc. in Newnan, Georgia is hiring Temporary Full Time Forklift Operators to support clean, organized warehouses and safe, efficient distribution.

Operators will use reach trucks and electric pallet jacks, earn $18.50 per hour with an extra $0.50 per hour on 3rd shift, and have weekly pay. Shifts include 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday or Mon-Fri 10:00 pm–6:00 am, with on-the-job training and comprehensive safety gear.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Able to work within a diverse environment.
• Punctual with good attendance; reliable and diligent.
• Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 35 lbs; stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule on various work shifts.

Aufgaben

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading and unloading of trucks
• Responsible of dealing with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Performs other duties as assigned.
