Job summary

Altium Packaging in City of Industry, California is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to safely operate a forklift, stack and retrieve supplies, and support GMP compliance on the production floor. The role requires 3-5 years of forklift experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a current OSHA forklift certification.

Shifts include 3rd shift with overtime as needed, and a targeted pay rate of $21.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift truck to stack and retrieve materials in production areas.
• Load trucks and secure products according to customer requirements.
• Load and unload materials onto/off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Monitor material usage on the work floor and supply lines with raw materials.
• Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules.
• Keep production lines supplied with raw materials and oversee stock levels.
• Inventory products as needed; label, sort, wrap and tie as required.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting devices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Work Shift: 8hr-3rd Shift (United States of America)

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials as well as following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies
• Load trucks and secure product in accordance with customer requirements
• Load and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device
• Monitor material usage on work floor and supply production lines with raw materials
• Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules
• Keep production lines supplied with raw materials
• Inventory product as needed. And label, sort, wrap and tie product
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device
• Other duties as assigned by management

Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Minimum Requirements: 3-5 Years Experience

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Current OSHA forklift driving certification
