Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Forklift Operator for our City of Industry, CA facility. You will operate a forklift to stack and retrieve materials, load trucks, and support production lines while following GMP and safety standards.

This role is 3PM to 11:30PM with potential overtime as needed. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and a current OSHA forklift certification.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in forklift operation or material handling.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current OSHA forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to stack and retrieve materials and load trucks.
• Monitor materials on production lines and maintain inventory as needed.
• Ensure safety compliance with GMP standards and company policies.
• Assist with unloading and stacking materials on pallets and wrapping as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Work Shift:

8hr-2nd Shift (United States of America)The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials as well as following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.

Hours:

3PM- 11:30PM

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies
• Load trucks and secure product in accordance with customer requirements
• Load and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device
• Monitor material usage on work floor and supply production lines with raw materials
• Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules
• Keep production lines supplied with raw materials
• Inventory product as needed. And label, sort, wrap and tie product
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device
• Other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Requirements:

3-5 years

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Current OSHA forklift driving certification
