Job summary

Harvard Maintenance is seeking a forklift operator to join our warehouse team. The role involves operating forklifts, loading/unloading goods, and moving materials to designated storage or shipping locations in a safe, organized environment.

You will inspect equipment daily, maintain inventory logs, and ensure compliance with safety policies. A valid forklift operator certification and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and familiarity with industrial safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric stand-up counterbalance forklifts or stand-up reach trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials from incoming trucks and place them in designated storage areas.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations as needed.
• Move products and materials to pallets, crates, or designated storage or shipping locations.
• Inspect equipment daily and perform routine maintenance to ensure operational safety.
• Identify damages, report shortages or quality concerns, and assist with inventory counts.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and equipment activity logs.
• Comply with safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
