Penske Logistics LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Forklift Operator for 2nd shift to support warehouse operations. You will stage, sort, and move products, operate forklifts, and use the warehouse management system with a strong focus on safety and accuracy.

We offer a competitive wage of $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential, comprehensive benefits, and potential overtime. A high school diploma is preferred; no prior warehouse experience is required.

Competenze

• No prior warehouse experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, time management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, background check and drug screening.

Mansioni

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Quality control.
• Identify and remove damaged products when received.
• Complete daily logs.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark with identifying information.
• Read work orders or instructions to determine assignments and needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved.
• Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers.
• Read production/shipping orders to determine items to move or distribute.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute items to production workers.
• Weigh or count items to ensure conformance to standards.
• Use computer to enter records and maintain inventory.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
