Penske Logistics is seeking a Forklift Operator for our Houston, TX location. This role is on the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 9:30 PM–6:00 AM) with overtime as needed. Wage is $20.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K with company match, PTO, and more. A $125 boot allowance after 90 days applies. You will learn and operate WMS, stage inventory, and ensure quality control.

• No prior warehouse experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Quality control.
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received.
• Complete daily logs.
• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Pack containers and re-pack damaged containers.
• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Uses computer to enter records.
• Maintains inventory records.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable).
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
